IT’S ONLY TEMPORARY (2023-ongoing)

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Many people had to flee abroad. More than a year has passed. They began to adapt to a new place, although most of them had never thought of leaving their homeland. However, people are trying to continue living despite all the circumstances. I was wondering how people feel in their new homes. How they turn their temporary apartments into something that can remind them of the place they had to flee.
Our relationship with home has undergone a dramatic shift in recent years. First, the lockdowns confined us to our homes, and then the war forced many to leave their familiar surroundings, possibly forever. Yet, the concept of home remains vital, even when we must rebuild it from scratch.
